The Rising Sun Cup is our annual championship which is a fundraising event to help raise much needed funds for local charities. The Rising Sun Cup is held yearly at St Anthonys Sports Hall, Ballinlough. The participant age ranges from 5-50years old and is one of the biggest events in the Rising Sun calendar.

Friendly but competitive rivalry adds to the spirit of the event which is attended by many students who take part to win individual and team events.

The highlight of the day is the Rising sun cup and over the years has been won mostly by the Passage West club under the instruction of Sensei Michael Keohane.
